In-Home Caregiver | Thurston County, WA

Full Job Description

About us

Capital Homecare Cooperative is a caregiver-owned worker cooperative that provides In-Home Care to seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Thurston County Washington. Capital Homecare Co-op was founded in March 2018 by two caregivers who believe that providing exceptional care starts with creating fantastic jobs for great caregivers, and we work to prove it every day. Our caregivers have been able to raise their own wages, vote for an employee benefits system, and more! Check us out at www.capitalhomecare.coop

Why would you want to work for us?

  • We are caregiver-focused, as an agency run and developed by caregivers we know how hard this job can be and we support our caregivers to succeed in the work they do.
  • Since 2019 we have provided our caregivers over $40,000 in COVID-related relief!
  • We create opportunities and space for people to engage where they shine, building their resumes and skills in a direction that they want.
  • We are MEMBER-owned, as a caregiver here you would have an opportunity to become an owner with a vote, electing a board of representatives, access to profit sharing and so much more!
  • We are client-centered caregivers that build genuine rapport and trust with our clients providing an enriching work experience.

We’re looking for part-time/full-time fully vaccinated caregivers to join our team and help serve our sweet elderly clients!

CHC provides compassionate in-home care for seniors and adults with Disabilities in the Olympia area. Caregivers clock in/out directly at their client’s home, perform caregiving tasks such as personal care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, transportation, etc. and log tasks before leaving. Our office works with caregivers to find their perfect schedule and is available 24/7 for support.

Capital Homecare is a worker-owned cooperative, meaning that the business is run BY caregivers and FOR caregivers. Instead of having one CEO making all the decisions for us, we make these decisions ourselves and reap the benefits!

We believe that caregivers do their best when they feel respected and valued for their work. That’s why our caregivers have flexible schedules, member benefits, a voice in business decisions, and more!
